<p>You may have met your fiance through the military or you may be a military bride waiting for your fiance to come home. Whatever the case if you&#8217;re affiliated with the military, you know that it&#8217;s full of traditions and rules. There&#8217;s actually a correct way to word a military invitation. Since the military prides itself on regulations, you&#8217;ll want to get the wording just right.</p>
<p>Rank determines the placement of names. If the bride or groom&#8217;s rank is below sergeant, you should omit the rank but list their branch of service ie. Marines, Air Force or Navy.  If the bride or groom&#8217;s rank is a Junior title, put that title below the person&#8217;s name, and indicate their branch. If you rank above lieutenant than you should indicate your title <em>before </em>your name, list your name, and then list your branch of service.</p>
