This is an essential guide to planning an affordable wedding. There are a ton of very specific tips. Many wedding “guides” just offer vague advice about how to do more research and negotiate. This book lays down the law. It gives you wedding industry insider knowledge like the cheapest month to marry, average money spent on weddings and how to get wholesale prices. Plus the book is written very simplified. When you’re planning a wedding, you don’t have time to read paragraphs. You need bullet points and short snippets so you can get down to action. Planning the rehearsal dinner, the wedding favors and more.This is much better than the book – How to Have an Elegant Wedding for $5000 (or Less). I also check that book out and found that the tips were not concrete or the authors just didn’t get to the point. Bridal Bargains was a book I picked up at the last minute. The cover is not that appealing so I was surprised with how useful it was.
