The Chic Side Pony
Good afternoon. I had a great day of beauty discoveries. I’m so proud of brides for embracing great updo’s, down styles and hair embellishments. It’s truly a creative thing, putting together your wedding day look. A down style has a distinctly different feel than an elegant chignon. So I love looking at photos of brides across the US, and feeling like I can understand their personality from their wedding day hairstyle and accessories. Below, is a side pony wedding style, that really spoke to me in terms of its modernity. Side hair styles are quite common lately, but this style is quite a chic and smooth version of the side pony. The hair is dramatically swept to the left side of the head and twisted forward so there’s a vintage look to it, all the hair curls to the front in a beautiful smooth loop. Also, I adore how the opposite side of the ponytail is adorned with a hair piece. I can tell the bride was very aware of the details of her wedding hair.
