Loving All Kinds of Cosmetics
I have been a makeup artist for over 5 years. Once I started working “behind the scenes” in beauty, I have to admit, some of the allure shifted for me. I was a hardcore beauty junkie before I got my first job as a beauty consultant. I craved Chanel brushes and Mac lipglass. Once I stepped behind the curtain, I still had passion and love for makeup, but I also learned that not only were the high powered luxury brands amazing (Nars, Chanel, MAC) but there are great products in almost every line regardless of price. I love Rimmel powders, Wet n Wild eyeliner and Clinique eyeshadow. I have truly become a beauty brand ambassador.
Having said that, here are some of my favorite products from around the world of cosmetics. Prestige brands and drugstore brands represented.
L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara.
It’s just a great volumizing formula and brush. Great price point too.

The color selection is amazing, and comparable to high end lines. I lOVE hot pink. Try it!!
Clinique Eye Shadow in Lucky Penny.
We are a nation in Lust with MAC eyeshadows. But Clinique has some vibrant shades that give MAC a run for its money.
Anything from Rimmel.
Maybe because it’s British, but I think this line is doing everything right. It’s fashion forward and affordable.
