When she’s off the screen and at red carpet events, her personal style comes through as more modern. The updo below is a great example of how Leighton takes the Blair Waldorf look to the sexy side.
This tousled and slightly bed-heady look is made through straightened sections and piecy hair.
First, blow dry 2 inch sections of your hair focusing your heat upward and away from your head. Height at the crown and roots is the key to this wedding updo.
Next add pomade or styling lotion to each of your “pieces” that have been dried.
Twist the hair back, and pin up against the back of your head, with 2 to 5 bobby pins depending on the thickness of your hair.
The tips of your hair should be pointing up an springing outward.
Depending on the length of your hair, the ends of your hair might be too wild and long to leave as is. If so, use bobby pins to strategically pin down the pieces in random placements.
In the front, pull pieces out and around your face.
