Celebrity Updo Inspiration: Taylor Swift

Lately, Taylor Swift has been the queen of the red carpet. She characteristically chooses sparkly and sequinned dresses, but tends to switch it up with her hair – from updo to down style. Taylor has those enviable curly locks, that look effortless, and always smooth. I suspect she has a personal hair stylist, so I don’t feel too bad that my hair isn’t quite as sleek and put together all the time.

For the ultimate beach feel, try to alternate directions of the curls, and even use different barrel sizes. Top off the boho wedding look with a headband around your forehead. This will look the most natural and bohemian. I love this down hairstyle for outdoor weddings and destination weddings.
The side swept pony is a hot trend in wedding hairstyles. Taylor Swift wears this trend well. Her curly loks are loosely twisted and swept to the side, and pinned in place just above the nape of the neck. The hair will stay side swept easily, with the proper twist and hairspray combination. Notice how earrings are paired with this hairstyle. For your wedding day, if you choose the romantic side ponytail, look for some elegant but understated earings. One of your ears will be clearly visible as all of your hair is swept away from that side.
