Wedding Makeup Success
This weekend I worked with one of my favorite brides so far. The bride and I really worked together to achieve the look that she envisioned. She researched and found photos she liked as inspiration. What was even more helpful is that she was specific about what she wanted for her makeup. She gave me adjectives like “gradient” and she pointed to aspects of the inspiration photos and showed me what elements she wanted in her wedding makeup. So, as a lesson to brides in the process of choosing your makeup artist and hair stylist, make sure you are clear on what you want. Have example photos and make sure that you articulate the best you can, what you want. We like the information and the direction!
Tell your makeup artist what you want. Be specific and study up on different looks like smoky, contoured, ect.
