Brunette Brides

I love brunette brides. I am partial, given that I myself am a brunette. Some of my favorite celebrities are brunettes. Lately I love Jessica Stroup, Minka Kelly, Mila Kunis and Leighton Meester. Something about the rich hair color – whether deep espresso, or a more chestnut to caramel hue, is beautiful and elegant.

Vibrantly Colored Wedding
Happy Frid..err Thursday. Yep, this is my Friday, I’m taking a 4 day weekend. I’m excited, and thought I would share a wedding that is as vibrant as the way  I feel today. Full of life, color and hope for my days of fun with family.

Rock and Roll Red Wedding

Whether you like her or not, Ashlee Simpson was looking fierce at the Melrose Place premiere on Monday night. I was inspired to create a little color board. Notice the awesome color swatch card from The Inspired Bride, the Louboutons and the Red roses and Gerber daisies.

Ali Larter Wedding Lessons

Recently, the Heroes stunner Ali Larter married Hayes MacArthuer. I was impressed with the simple elegance of her wedding from the dress to her hair style.

Lavender Wedding Bouquet

Shabby Chic Bridal Bouquet

Biggest Loser Wedding Workout

I’m a huge Biggest Loser fan. So I was excited to see the wedding photos of last season’s Nicole and Damien. Looks like Nicole chose a mermaid style Amsale dress. I am personally not a fan of mermaid dresses, but she works it! Anyone who loses 125 pounds can wear a mermaid dress and sashay [...]

Hay Bail Seating, for A Shabby Chic Affair

I love shabby chic weddings, and anything inspired by the outdoors, farms and the country. When I saw this wedding, I fell in love with the hay bail seating that was used. How cute and thoughtful!

Wedding Makeup Success

This weekend I worked with one of my favorite brides so far. The bride and I really worked together to achieve the look that she envisioned. She researched and found photos she liked as inspiration. What was even more helpful is that she was specific about what she wanted for her makeup. She gave me [...]
