How to wear your hair up for your wedding
As a wedding hair and makeup expert, I’ve seen the wedding hair trend from princessy updo’s to more romantic, indie type down-do’s. For brides marrying in the summer, this trend can be frustrating, because heat and flowing locks don’t work well together. On the day that you want to feel most beautiful and most feminine, having sweat running down the nape of your neck is hardly a confidence-booster. Good news, though, I’ve seen a resurgence of the loose, romantic updo, which is a nice hybrid of what the updo and the down-do do best. The updo keeps the hair off your shoulders, keeping you cool. There’s no fuss and less concern with your curls. The down-do provides you with that girly feeling, and it helps to frame the face. Hair down, is generally more flattering to fuller faces.
So here are some hairstyles that will help flatter your face, keep you looking feminine, while allowing you to avoid unsightly sweating.
