Engagement Ring Alternative: White Topaz

Traditional engagement ring
Gemstone Engagement Rings: White Topaz, Sapphire, Citrine
Though I’m not engaged, I still think about what type of ring I’d want. Since I’ve gotten older, and have learned about money, and how hard we all work for money – my ideas about engagements and weddings have evolved. I have a practical side to myself that only wants a gold or white gold band. After all, why do I need a diamond to signify my love. It’s strong on it’s own. But the little girl in most of us women can’t help but dream of a Tiffany solitaire engagement ring, or an exotic diamond setting. So I’ve been looking around at affordable alternatives to engagement rings that still retain meaning and the wonder of getting engaged.
My birthday is in November, which means my birthstone is a Topaz. There are many colors of Topaz – not just the amber/orange color. There is even a white topaz. I found a picture of a white topaz ring that looks suspiciously like an engagement ring
This got my wheels turning. Maybe I’ll personalize my ring and get one with a gemstone. Engaged couples have been doing this for years. I’ve also seen some great jewelry by Lauren K.
These rings are considered “costume jewelry” by some. But I think a person should decide what they think is beautiful, and it doesn’t have to be diamonds.

I understand. I had a dream that my perfect man would give me the perfect diamond, but his dream involved no debt and he couldn’t imagine spending his hard earned money on a “big” diamond.
Fortunately, we were able to realized both dreams and form our own business to help others do the same. Check out ForeverDiamondService.com. We’re real people helping people in love.
